Sojourn House is one of Toronto’s largest refugee shelter and is celebrating 30 years of welcoming refugees. To mark this milestone, on November 22, 2017 between 4 pm – 8 pm, we are inviting former clients, donors, funders and supporters to an evening of celebration.

How will your contribution help

We are looking for a photographer who may be interested in developing or adding to their current portfolio to document this keynote event.

You will be required to photograph both general and specific shots of the event which will be used for post event communications and future promotional materials.

The images taken from the celebration will be used for promotional purposes – on our website and on social media platforms. Some of them will also be shared with our high value stakeholders.

What will you get out of it

The opportunity for your photography to be credited at a high profile event and the satisfaction of knowing you are making a valuable contribution to Sojourn House and our commitment to serving refugees.

Interested candidates must have their own professional photographic and lighting equipment, and be willing to work for the entire duration of the event. Please send your resume with a few samples of your previous event or portraiture portfolio to volunteer@sojournhouse.org by Friday, November 3, 2017 to be considered.
